Slurrrrrrrrrrp.
That was the sound me of trying to eat up every last drop of what was one of the yummiest healthy ice creams I've ever had. Strawberry Mango Banana Ice Cream to be exact.
I'm sure by now that you've probably heard of the infamous no churn banana ice cream recipes. If not, it's basically one of the smartest inventions ever created.
If I could meet the person that came up with such an ingenious idea I would probably run up to them and hug them....and then quickly apologize for being so awkward.
So basically, the base for this ice cream was made with no heavy cream, no eggs, no refined sugar....just bananas. Frozen bananas, a few fruits and a food processor.
The frozen bananas, once blended, give a texture that's impressively similar to that of ice cream but I'm not going to lie to you...this tastes nothing like ice cream. It tastes like bananas (surprise!) but it's absolutely delicious and so versatile because it can mix with a variety of different flavor add ins.
For this recipe, I decided to give the banana ice cream a twist by adding my two favorite fruits: strawberries and mangoes and what I ended up with was a yummy, refreshing, tropical infused ice cream made with happiness and rainbows.
Strawberry Mango Banana Ice Cream

Strawberries, frozen bananas and mangoes come together in this delicious vegan ice cream alternative
Ingredients
- 3 Bananas, Frozen
- 1 Cup Chopped Strawberries, Frozen
- 1 Cup Mangoes, Frozen
- ½ Cup Almond Milk
- 1 Tbs Honey
Instructions
- Add bananas, mangoes and half of the almond milk to a food processor and blend until creamy, pour into a loaf pan or shallow container of choice (this container must be freezer safe)
- Add chopped strawberries, the other half of the almond milk and the honey to the food processor and blend until creamy. Drop spoonfuls of strawberry mixture on top of mango banana mixture
- Using a knife, begin to swirl the strawberry mixture around, creating a marble effect in the ice cream
Notes
Ice cream will be immediately ready to eat if you want a soft serve texture. If you want your ice cream to be a little more firm, simply stick it in the freezer for a couple of hours (if you can wait that long!)
