Chocolate and raspberries. You know, I think that in a past life these two were actually soulmates. I think that although it's never actually been stated as a solid fact....raspberries and chocolate were made for each other and should always be eaten together. There, done, case closed.
Okay...I kid, I kid. But seriously... when I'm eating raspberries, my taste buds dance. When I eat chocolate, my taste buds dance, and when I eat chocolate with raspberries? My taste buds party like it's 1999. So with that having been said, you can just image what kind of celebration was going on in my mouth as I was eating this Chocolate Raspberry Smoothie Bowl. Let me tell ya, I licked the bowl with no shame. It was the pistachios, I blame the pistachios.
Before I go into the recipe for this bowl of awesomeness, I want to go on a little happy rant (no, no please don't scroll past this! You may benefit from this info). I want to tell you guys about this wonderful blogging community that I recently joined called Food Blogger Pro. Seriously, I could go on for days about how happy I am about this decision but I'll try to keep it short and sweet for the sake that you need to go ahead and make this smoothie bowl before your taste buds yell at you.
Food Blogger Pro is an online blogging community run by Lindsey and Bjork Ostrom, the talented people behind that awesome food blog, Pinch of Yum. It's open to anybody looking to improve their blogging skills and truly maximize their potential to grow their blog. Although FBP is targeted towards food bloggers, the tips and video tutorials can truly benefit just about any type of blogger. There are TONS of clear, instructive videos geared towards improving photography skills to maximizing SEO potential and boosting site traffic through social media and other outlets. Above all of this, one of my favorite parts of FBP is the community forum which has already become my little internet home. The amount of positive energy that radiates through the community is phenomenal. There are bloggers from all walks of life, all skill levels who all share common interests and have a drive to help one another. I think that this is especially nice because in a world where majority of business ventures are driven by competition and an "every man for themself" mentality, it's great to know that I'm surrounded by people who truly want me to succeed, as I do for them!
I signed up for the monthly plan which is $29.00, no contract which means that you can leave anytime you wish. There is also a yearly plan for $279 which works out to be $23.25 a month which I personally feel is a deal either way because the amount of resources, information and support that I'm getting are truly priceless. (I want to add that this was not sponsored in any way, I'm sincerely just giving my 2 cents in on something great that I feel should be shared)
Anywho, thanks for letting me get that all out, I'm just so happy that I took the plunge to sign up for FBP and just start food blogging all together! My blog baby is officially a month old and it's been the greatest, most rewarding learning experience.
